Planning and Packing for BlogTour NYC!

The time is almost here for me to go to #BlogTourNYC! I'm in the process of packing up my luggage and of course second guessing everything I'm taking. Normally, I'm a bit of a last minute planner when it comes to packing and tend to throw things in a bag, praying I remember everything. This time I've been more focused and plan on going prepared. Comfort and stylish is what I'm after, so I've been Pinning outfit ideas like crazy since I found out I was going. I'm not a fussy dresser and gravitate toward simply-detailed, quality pieces without a lot of pattern…"effortless chic". I've also been reading up on our sponsors and fellow bloggers to make the most of this experience and ensure I'm ready to put in my best effort. It's been fantastic stepping outside my own business and looking at what others are doing.

We have some pretty talented people attending this gig and we've all been given important assignments: educating ourselves on our sponsors so we can share with you their amazing products when we're home, nominating our top 10 design brands or artisans from the areas of furniture, lighting, textiles, kitchen, bath, tile, accessories, etc. at the Architectural Digest Home Design Show, and reviewing our hotel and the restaurants we go to!
