My Miele Moment
I have been a fan of Miele products for a very long time. I appreciate their understated, high-end quality and A++ performance. I'm not a flashy designer, and when I put plans together, especially the kitchen, I want each detail of the design to have a purpose and not be extraneous. I rather put surprise elements, such as pattern or texture where it counts. Miele fits seamlessly for any kitchen design I do, whether the style is more classic or contemporary. Here's some information taken from Miele's latest press release: “The Combi-Steam Oven is the perfect partnering of Miele oven technology,” said Kathrin Pfeifer, Product Manager for Miele. “ We’ve combined true European convection technology which offers the best cooking environment for roasting and baking with our unique external steam generator to create an all-in-one-oven that provides the consummate cooking fusion.”
Photos courtesy of Miele Miele was one of several leading companies who generously sponsored the Modenus #BlogTourNYC. One of the highlights of the tour was the night Miele hosted our team at their gorgeous NYC showroom. We watched über (my nod to Miele's German heritage) talented Cédric Vongerichten, chef at Perry St. Restaurant, as he prepared an incredibly elegant, culinary experience in their state-of-the-art kitchen. I saw first hand the Combo-Steam Oven in action. So impressed with their products (and sales department), I am currently specifying the Combi-Steam Oven and Whole Bean Coffee System for a kitchen I'm designing. I plan on sharing photos and the process on my blog over the next few months.
